Ihlsee Salon #4 – Meet us at the Biennale in Venice

Join us for a guided tour led by Dr. Stefanie Thiedig, sinologist, expert on Chinese contemporary art and Chairwoman of the Residenz am Ihlsee.

We will begin at the Chinese Pavilion, where we will explore how traditional Chinese thought meets contemporary art, science and digital technologies, and decide for ourselves whether they make a happy couple.

From there, we will stroll to the Taiwan Pavilion in the Palazzo delle Prigioni (about 15 minutes towards the city center) to discover Li Yi-Fan’s take on the same theme.

When the exhibitions close at 6 pm, the conversation does not have to. We will wrap up the afternoon with a relaxed aperitivo to keep talking and to shape our own narratives on philosophy, community and technology. Come for the art, stay for the spritz.
